Page 9 Home Michelle Suddreth (KD4YTU), Norm Harrill (N4NH), and Tommy Queen (K4BNP) enjoy a lighter moment before exams began. In an attempt to get as many examinees into the picture as possible, some overlapping of snapshots is evident. Actually, 12 examinees took the exams for the Tech License with only 1 needing to return to the books for additional study. Some shown here also took the General class element exam with 1 qualifying for that level ham ticket. Of the ones pictured here, 7 were Fire Department personnel. Notable is the fact that we had 1 (LARC Member Floyd Key, KF4PJJ) to take the Extra Class Exam ...scoring a very respectable 98 as a score! Congratulations to all!! The Lenoir ARC sponsored a class (instructed by Michelle Suddreth, KD4YTU) for aspiring candidates for the Technician Class license who concluded their studies recently by attending the following exam night on August 21, 2007 at the Gamewell Fire Department. The exams were administered by the WCARS VE Team (VEC: Norm Harrill, N4NH; VE examiners/graders Tommy Queen, K4BNP; Jim Rogers, N4EUX; Ruby Rogers, KA4CLI; Jerry Gragg, KF4PJL; and Rick Tilton, N4WYK. AND THE RESULTS ARE IN!
